Gustav means "staff of God"

www.wunderground.com
As Gustav continues towards the Gulf OF Mexico we need to interceed for the Gulf Coast. Pray for the churches that are on the coast, pray that they would not fear for their own lives but that they would serve those in need of help. Pray for repentance to break out in the Gulf Coast and across America.

CRI - Houston

Disaster Preparedness and Relief Meeting Houston Texas
As The Lord continues to reveal His plans to the Prophets we continue to sense “the call” to prepare The Church to respond in times of disaster, war and pestilence. We believe the body of Christ is one of the major keys in the process of preparedness and response. Our desire is to gather pastors and leaders in order to hear their heart, vision, and revelation for the city of Houston. We want to partner with the local body in equipping and training up Hybrid Missionaries who will be able to manifest the Kingdom in the theater of crisis.
Meeting Objectives:
1: Gather Pastors, Leaders, and Organizations who have a heart for disaster relief, response and preparedness
2: Introduce Crisis Response International; Vision, Mission, Training, International Relief
3: Gather information in regards to partnering with the local church in the areas of: Preparedness, Response, Resources, Intercession
Crisis Response International
CRI is a recognized Volunteer Organization Active in Disaster (VOAD) that can integrate into local, state, and federal response plans using the Incident Command System (ICS) according to the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
As disasters increase, cities will ripen overnight. We are training hybrid missionaries who will be able to manifest the Kingdom in the theater of crisis. Our tactics avoid what governments call "the second disaster" - when spontaneous resources and untrained volunteers arrive on a scene.
Prophetic Messengers
Now more than ever we need to understand God's leadership in these final hours. The need for widespread revelation as to what God is doing in the earth is paramount. As everything that can be shaken is shaken, men's hearts will fail them for fear... Love will grow cold and many will fall away. God is raising up messengers out of the place of intimacy that will "cri out" preparing the way of the Lord.

Sound Equipment For Uganda

We are collecting used sound equipment and instruments for a 40' shipping container to Kampala, Uganda. The equipment will be transported to the Northern part of the country where it will be repaired in the context of teaching technical skills. The project is designed to supply much needed sound equipment to area churches. It is our desire to see sustainable prayer models and houses of prayer be raised up in the crisis situation there. We are also in need of a small Backhoe / Dozer that we can remove the cab and place the unit in the 40ft container (In need of repair is ok)
Connect Africa has been involved in Gulu for 5 years and has been there through the various stages of the conflict in the North. Gulu became well know for the term "The Invisible Children" where the kids were running from rebel forces that abducted nearly 60,000 children into it's violent army. Connect Africa reports that things have returned to a relative calm for now ,and they are in a rebuilding phase with the refugees. The project is called "Resound."

Disaster Relief and Prophetic Messengers

Disaster Relief and Prophetic Messengers
(www.criout.org)
Over the past year we have been building the structure necessary to train and mobilize disaster response units. As disasters increase, cities will ripen overnight. We are training hybrid missionaries who will be able to manifest the Kingdom in the theater of crisis. Our tactics avoid what governments call "the second disaster" - when spontaneous resources and untrained volunteers arrive on a scene. CRI is a recognized Volunteer Organization Active in Disaster (VOAD) that can integrate into local, state, and federal response plans using the Incident Command System (ICS) according to the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

Why CRI ?
We live in a time where every storm and disaster is referred to as "The Worst Ever"... A NEW MISSION FIELD HAS OPENED UP.. It's the Harvest in the Midst of Crisis.
